Appearance:
Miss Weasley is a relatively short girl of slight proportions. Her feet are rather small and her hands quick and lithe. The thin frame of her shoulders caress the fragile silhouette of her neck, which supports the bright smile always creeping across her charming face. Two brilliantly blue eyes are shrouded by an army of long, black eyelashes, and set on either side of a rather narrow, petite nose. Her lips are a bit thin, though soft to the touch and pinkishly fleshy in color. A light dusting of freckles kiss the bridge of her nose and the apples of her cheeks, varying in intensity depending on the time of year. Locks of wavy chocolate fall and frame her face in a natural curtain of rich, creamy brown. Her hair falls a little past her shoulders, though she likes to keep it up in a hastily done and very messy bun; out of the way. Her face is endearing, though not without its imperfections. Evidence of this is the long, thin scar running the length of the left side of her jawbone. Though difficult to see unless one is looking for it, it's quite noticeable if one knows it's there. She recieved it in her Second Year, the year she first started playing Quidditch.
Personality:
Terribly endearing and quite a charming soul, Rosie can hardly be described as anything far from sweet. She's got a heart of gold, which can't stand the sight of hurting things and cruelty. It's from this need for things to be without pain that she's developed an assertive nature. Never afraid to stand up and speak her mind, Rosie can scare off any bully with simply a show of how serious and unafraid she is. However, her sterner side is only shown off when the need arises for someone to be protected.
However, Rosie also has a problem with her clumsy hands, feet, and magical abilities. Though her appearance suggests poise and grace, Rosie is really quite a klutz. Though she's quite bright, her mother's great magical abilities were never passed on to her. Instead, she recieved the skills of her father, ones of the less impressing sort. Her spells are constantly getting bungled and switching things around so random happenings like bubbles, fires, and puffs of smoke are common occurances with her. Accidents of course, and unavoidable when she's attempting to master a certain spell. However, her memory is quick and her mouth quicker. Always is she able to come up with a quick retort or a witty comeback.
One of Rosie's many weaknesses is her trust. She has a tendency to trust too easily, for she thinks the best in everyone, making her extremely vulnerable to attack and/or people using her. Goodness is something Rosie thinks everyone has, and she strives to find it in all strangers, even if there's none there to find. This may be attributed to the fact that she's a bit naive and altogether just to trusting.

History:
Rosie Ginerva Weasley was born on October 27 to Ronald and Hermionie Weasley. She was named after Hermionie's mother {totally making that part up} and Ronald's sister, Ginny.
Growing up in a magical home was easy enough for Rosie. Though she often found herself on the delivering end of a rather awful spell as she practiced her magic, her mood was forever cheerful. Nothing could phase the young girl nick-named Sunshine by her loving parents. The family followed the style of Ron's, the house becoming fuller and fuller with every passing year. Young Rosie learned to play well with others in her house of many siblings, and cultivated her wit-filled tongue in arguments with her most difficult brother, Hugo.
As planned, the letter from Hogwarts arrived on her eleventh birthday. She rode the Hogwarts Express to school, easily making friends in a compartment full of amiable first years that she slipped into when everywhere else seemed to be full. Her placement in Hufflepuff surprised her parents, but they were pleased all the same. Loyalty was something highly prided in the Weasley household, and being picked out for that trait was something, in their eyes, to be proud of.
The years went by at Hogwarts. On her thirteenth birthday, her father gave her an Old English Sheepdog puppy, which she quickly named after her quirky grandfather Arthur before begging her parents to let her take it to school. With the consent of the headmaster, she was given a pen in the Forbidden Forest for the dog, which she had to work for. She's aided the crotchety old Caretaker, Argus Filch, for many years and the two have become good friends. The older Squib could definitely use a spry, young helping hand around.
And so she came to her Seventh year. She held the post of Beater on her house's Quidditch Team, following in the footsteps of two of her uncles, Fred and George.
Who knows what the next year will bring?
