The low hum of an engine could be heard echoing off the stone walls of knockturn alley as Selli Riggs stepped off of her enchanted motorbike. She of course could have made the engine be completely silent, and on some of her more stealthy missions she would make it so, but she also liked the noise, the announcement of her presence, all eyes on her. She didn't loathe being the center of attention, and she especially was with this shiny, pearl white motorcycle sticking out in this alley of darkness. Her bike may have stuck out, but Selli Riggs was exactly where she belonged.
She got off her bike, and she was wearing dark wizarding robes just like everyone else in this area. They were not completely black, in fact they were a rather dark emerald green and they matched quite nicely with her eyes that were of similar colour but bright rather than dull and of a lighter shade. Her hair was in one long braid to the side so it would not get too messed up as she flew through the skies and she wore very high-heeled boots to make up for her shortness in height.
The area where she parked was even more off the beaten track than the actually alley itself. It was as far away from diagon alley as you could be in Knockturn Alley and she was in a private sort of alley way. But what exactly was the head of Slytherin house doing away from Hogwarts and in such a dank part of town? Well that was in fact, no one's business except for her own and she liked to keep it that way.
She was there for her own personal needs, she had to scope out some materials and perhaps she would run into a few friendly faces on the way. And although most people would probably be scared in this place, where she was at that moment, Selli loved it. Along with the darkness that went along with her black heart... the silence always let her know if there was someone around, for it was very easy to hear distant echoes of footsteps of anyone who would dare approach...

Raven smirked as the mudblood started begging him to please pity him and let him go. He would not be so easy to convince. He watched the mudblood for a few minutes feeling bored, the mudblood was beginning to bore him and he wanted to have some fun. He pushed the door open and turned slowly to face his prey once again. He flicked his wand loosening the bonds that held the mudblood in place. "You may go" he said. He watched the mudblood jump up and race towards the door. He stepped forward and blocked the doorway. "Did you really think it would be that easy, mudblood?" he said staring coldly at the young man. "Avada Kedavra" he said lazily while watching the mudblood crumple to the ground. He should really find a new method of playing with his prey, their reactions were becoming boring and predictable.
He stepped out of the room and locked it behind him. Hopefully the body would be found soon and would send more panic through the wizarding world. He yawned as he walked through the streets of London. He needed some fun. He decided that he could find that fun in Knockturn alley. There was always a fellow deatheater or dark wizard to be found there. He walked through the Leaky Cauldron and sneered at the few wizards that were there, he was not in the mood for conversation with a bunch of drunkards. He walked out to the back and entered Diagon Alley. The alley that was normally full of wizards and witches was currently near empty. He carried on walking and soon turned down the small pathway that took him to Knockturn Alley.
After a few minutes of wondering pointlessly through Knockturn Alley he saw a familiar figure in an area a small distance away from the main alley way. He silently approached the figure and once he was within hearing range he said softly "I thought you were off at Hogwarts under pretense of being a teacher Selli" he smiled slyly. "Don't tell me that you are now slacking off on your Job?" He tilted his head slightly and waited for the female's response.

And so the footsteps came, just as she expected, but she was more happy then disappointed when she listened to the type of sound they were making, they were not the hurried steps of a frightened little wizard who was in bounds where they shouldn't be, they we in fact confident strides of someone on a mission, someone completely confident with the way they lived their life. And when she saw the face that belonged to these feet she was even more enthusiastic, although she didn't display this on her face.
She kept a cool jaded expression as she looked upon Raven and the way that he was silently judging her just as she was to him. But what exactly was he thinking? She gazed into his hollow and dark eyes, the perfect structure of his cheek bones, and his stature when he walked and stood there lurking upon her and she couldn't help but be impressed because this was the type of person she respected, this was the type of company she craved while being locked up in that god-forsaken place.
"Please.." She said, the sarcasm very much apparent, "I may hate it there, but slacking off is something that this woman doesn't do. Can't I have some time to myself once in a while? I need the darkness after all that joy that is in every corner of that castle."
She ran her hand along the seat of her bike and then began taking strides toward Raven, pacing slightly as she did so. "At least I'm doing something productive with my time, and I actually have a job. Tell me Raven, are you still killing mudbloods randomly and pinning the murders on 'mysterious accidents'?"

Raven smiled slightly at Selli's words about Hogwarts. "What no potential deatheaters among the Slytherin students?" he looked at Selli and frowned. "Don't tell me that Slytherin is going soft, that will mean that we will have to destroy them as well when we take over the school" he said. Raven still held a grudge against the school for sorting his daughter into Gryffindor. The silent feud he now had with his daughter had recently fueled this grudge into complete hatred for the school.
He watched Selli run her hands along the seat of her bike and took steps towards him. He glared at Selli when she asked if he was still killing random mudbloods. "I never kill randomly" he said acidly. "And for your information this one was an extremely irritating reporter at the Daily Prophet who was prophesing all sorts of crap about mudbloods and purebloods being equals" he said feeling furious. All the deatheaters knew about Raven's hatred of mudbloods and muggles. Most also knew not to question his act of murdering mudbloods or calling his murders random.
He glared at Selli, "Besides this one was a personal request of the dark lord's, he was getting sick of being called names and wanted the mudblood to learn his lesson before he died" Raven was careful not to lose his temper, Calderact wouldn't be pleased with him if he killed his spy at Hogwarts because he had lost his temper. Raven also had a feeling that it wouldn't look good if he killed his daughter's History of Magic professor. He watched Selli pacing, ran his hand through his hair and said, "And can you stop pacing, it's starting to piss me off"

She could feel his temper rising, his voice getting filled with irritation and his emotions going awry but instead of frightening her it simply made that permanent smirk that was planted on her face grow more with what she was causing to brew. The last thing she would feel was scared, in fact the very thought that most wizards in this world were afraid of Raven made her mind consumed with laughter, maybe it was because Selli in her own way was just as crazy as he, or maybe in her somewhat reckless attitude she had a feeling of invincibility as if nothing and no one could get to her. Either way, she could tell he was holding back but that only made Selli want to continue egging him on even more.
The excuses he strung together were so well rehearsed, it was the mark of someone who had been killing for a while and felt zero remorse for any of his victims, and the fact that she was calling him out on it though, Selli knew it was a bold move but it was something she was known for having...the ability to toe that invisible line and push people's buttons oh so effectively. It was the type of personality that you were either completely turned off by or absolutely drawn to, either way Selli knew that right now she had the upperhand because of him being off guard from his emotions, and due to that no feeling of fear was within her at all.
When he scolded her for her pacing she did stop for the moment, but kept that same look on her face and she bore her eyes into his, "only starting to piss you off? Shame. We may be on the same side and everything.. but I can't help but get enjoyment from your rash behavior. " She picked up her walk once more, continuing her pace back and forth. "I just dare you to try something"

Raven raised his eyebrows when Selli dared him to try something. He could swear the women was almost as insane as he was. "You seem quite miffed that you're only now starting to piss me off" he glared at Selli. She knew what he was capable of and yet all she wanted to do at the moment was irritate him. He watched her pacing starting to feel bored with her attempts of making him lose his temper. "Me try something? You should be more specific Selli, something could mean anything" Raven said hoping that his words would throw her off guard, he slowly took his wand out of his pocket. He kept his eyes on Selli's wand hand the whole time, he might be on the same side as Selli but that didn't mean that the woman wouldn't turn on him just to have a bit of fun.
He frowned as he watched Selli, she was one of the few deatheaters that would try and push his buttons. "I would tell you that pushing me like that is stupid but knowing you, you would ignore my words" he said looking at her. Selli seemed to have a personal vendetta against Harry Potter and the Order, and he didn't blame her. He hated the order for all that they stood for. He had never seen the importance of muggle equality and all that crap, truth be told he had always opposed muggle equality. Raven had always believed that muggles were savages and should be treated as savages, not as equals.

Each person had their own reason for choosing which side to represent. For some, like Selli it may be about revenge... or if you were on the good side perhaps it would be about justice, whatever that meant. But then there were others like Raven, the classic example of what a dictator's attitude was, that complete feeling of hatred toward those who preach about equality, because they knew that no one was the same and those more privileged, more intelligent, and in some cases more blessed in the looks department, should be treated better than others because they deserved it more. Selli of course was all about pureblood superiority, but she knew when it came down to it none of it really mattered. For her, she chose the side she believed most catered to her needs, and the side that she believed would indeed be the winning one.
To Selli Riggs, the first great Dark Lord summed it up perfectly when he said 'there is no good and evil, only power and those too weak to seek it'. That was something she lived by, quest for power and care not about who you hurt along the way.
"Oh I dare not be more specific Raven, I'm sure you have many ideas brewing up in that twisted mind of yours". She saw him reach for his wand, and his eyes darting to her own wand arm as he mentally dared her to try something in return. Selli was not going to be foolish though, she knew it would be pointless to get in a useless duel, especially in these crucial times for the new Dark Lord to rise to power, but that didn't mean that she couldn't have some fun without causing any real damage.
"Yes you are right, ignoring people's requests is something I do best, helps me accomplish a lot when I block out the unnecessary warnings and distractions." So if they wouldn't duel during this meeting, what exactly was about to go down? Selli could only ponder where this was all going to lead to.. so in the meantime, she crossed her arms in front of her, showing that she had no intention of bringing out her wand, but that didn't mean her challenge wasn't still there.
"Go on Raven, why don't you try cursing an unarmed helpless young woman. You should be accustomed to it already"

Raven raised his eyebrows at Selli's words. "And how do you know I have ideas brewing in my twisted mind?" He said grinning and folding his arms. He had become acustomed to Selli's games over the years and he knew that her games could get dangerous if he played by her rules. He did suspect though that she was just having fun at the moment, she usually saved her full-blown games for her apparent victims. He had to admit that Selli was enjoyable to be around, her mind was almost as twisted as his so the two would often try to out do the other. Their games with each other usually ended in a stale mate.
He smiled at her words about her ignoring people's requests. "The poor men who are your victims Selli, I almost pity them" he said lifting his chin up and looking Selli squarely in the eye. He was using every trick he knew even though he knew it rarely worked on Selli. He raised his eyebrows when Selli said that he should be acustomed to cursing helpless young women. He walked closer to Selli and leaned closer to her. "And what you know about me killing helpless young women, Selli, heard it through the grapevine, hmm? For you information I haven't harmed a woman in six years, not even my mudblood loving daughter" he grabbed Selli by the arm. "Don't go making wild accusations without proof Selli, that could get you killed" he hissed at her.

Derek, being Calderact's right hand man, and highest ranking Death Eater next to the Dark Lord himself, was always busy. He always had a lot of jobs that needed doing, and errands to run. He especially took time out of things to hunt down traitors, for loyalty was one of his most prized trait in a person. Traitors were something that he despised, though his daughter, he feared, was just that, and had no intention in serving forever under the great lord. It mattered not however, for one of Derek's jobs was to keep her in check.
However, though he be a very busy man, the Death Eater had found time out of work to go and visit a rather shabby and run down looking bar in the middle of Knockturn Alley. The alley itself was a place that he often frequented and he enjoyed spending there, even if he actually had nothing to get. He would walk, and watch the petty people around him, laugh at the old ug;y hags and sneer at the deranged men who took pride in their haggard appearances and their apparant charm.
The male chuckled under his breath, as he left the pun itself and began his calm and dignified walk down one of the smaller back alleys. He wore he a dark pinstriped suit and a black cloak was fastened around his broad shoulders. Even though he wore these clothes, and appeared rather smart, he had a rather ruggid look about him to, with an unshaven chin and slightly unkept black hair, through which, a pair of almost wolfish blue eyes peered out unto the scene before him.
The man was also tall, and appeared quite menacing and intimidating to those who did not know him. He commanded a lot of attention, especially from the ladies, for no-one could deny that he was actually gorgeous, and it was a wonder why he didn't have a girlfriend after so many years. He had had a wife, but she was long gone now ...The truth was that he used women most of the time, and cared little for thei well being after he was done with them. Really, they were just his entertainment.
A pair of voices caught his attention as he walked, and the male looked over towards the familiar Death Eaters as he approached. Eyes narrowed as the male grabbed the female's arm, and Derek was before the two of them rather quickly, pushing Raven on the chest with one hand, as his opposite arm slid around Selli's waist. What? I did say that he liked women, and he had often found said female to be rather attractive.
"Dear Raven, didn't anyone ever tell you to keep your hands to yourself?" The male asked in a rather masculine, and almost seductive voice. He had a natural air of coolness and uncaring, and his charm seemed to float around him, unchallenged. He watched Raven with a cool look in his eyes, almost daring the man to speak to him as he had surely been to Sellli. He had no idea what was going on, but he didn't care either - from where he stood, it hadn't looked like the most pleasent of meetings.
Glancing towards the female beside him, Derek smiled at her. "Are you quite alright, or do you wish me to order this buffoon away?"

How did she know about his mind, and all the secrets that were within it? Well for one men were easy, when they weren't thinking about sex they were thinking about power and control, and Selli had a slight idea that the plots going on within Raven's head was familiar territory. Her own twisted head had agreed with many of the things he'd done in their time knowing eachother, they were completely different of course, but in their own way they were very much alike and so his rough and mysterious exterior was not that difficult to see through from Selli's perspective.
Ah yes, the poor men... he was lucky he said almost every single one of Selli's victims deserved it in some way, even if it was Selli who brought out that monster within them, she was the very one to silence it as well. When she was grabbed, her expression didn't change in the least bit, once again it was still all part of the game and in her eyes, this was exactly the position she wanted to be in at the moment.
She was about to open her mouth to respond, her mind humming with every single comeback that she could throw in his direction, but she heard footsteps once more through the quiet darkness. She moved her gaze away from Raven's eyes and looked into the entrance of the alley way. After a moment or two of nothing but the pounding steps she saw a tall and handsome figure emerging. He was probably the spitting image of what most women would imagine a knight in shining armour to look like.. but a knight in shining armour was the last thing that Selli wanted.
She felt Raven's grip on her loosen and another touch come to a different part of her body. In the flash of a moment Selli inhaled Derek's scent, noting that he did smell quite irresistible, but with his words directed toward her, her face displayed not thankfulness but a dangerous scowl.
She put her own hand on his chest, pushing slightly and then spinning out of his grip he had around her waist. She looked from Derek to Raven and then back at Mr. Wolfe once more, finally getting a chance to speak.
"I'm more than alright sir. And you should know by now that a man who can abuse power and interfere in situations that are not needed to be interfered in is something I'm definitely not interested in." She turned away from the two of them, her long robes swooshing behind her aggressive movement.

Raven was still glaring at Selli when he heard the footsteps. The next thing he knew Derek Wolfe appeared and pushed him on his chest. He let go of Selli's arm and glared at Derek as he slid his arm around Selli's waist. "Derek" he said still glaring at him. "I believe not" he said keeping his voice calm, it would be stupid of him to lose his temper around the dark lord's favourite deatheater. He smiled as he watched Selli push Derek away and begin to walk away.
He looked back at Derek. "I believe you just ruined her fun Derek" he said with a smirk on his face. Selli's reaction seemed to prove to him that she had been leading him on, just using him in the same way she used all her victims. He grinned when Selli told Derek that she was not interested in some one who interfered. "You should know Selli better Derek, she often puts herself in these kinds of situations just for fun" He turned in the direction of Selli and started to walk after her. When he was close enough to her he spoke to her "So Selli tell me something that you are definately interested in" he said smirking in her direction

Derek knew all of the Death Eaters well, so he was not surprised when Selli pushed him away. He knew that she liked to toy with people, especially men, and he'd probably just ruined her fun, but he didn't care much about that ... And why should he? He was the second in command basically, like Lucius had been to Voldemort, in a way. Derek, now, had served both brothers and he would have to admit that he preferred Calderact over the man who could not defeat Harry Potter. In a way, he worshipped Calderact.
But that is going way off topic.
Smiling, Derek took a few steps after Selli, after flashing Raven a sort of smirk, but otherwise ignored the man. He took great pleasure in knowing that people in the Death Eater ring held their tongue when around him, atleast most of the time, and that he could invoke fear into the more cowardly ones. The wizard loved having that sort of power, and simply wanted more, but there was another thing that he wanted aswell, something that he had longed for for a very long time ... Female company.
"You both jump so quickly to conclusions. I was not here to interfere ... I was drawn here by dear Selli's beauty, and I'm afraid that I am now condemned to stay here and look, but never to touch." He spoke in that smooth voice of his, his blue eyes sparkling. He was a charmer, there was no way around it. He knew how to flatter a woman, though some were much harder to charm than others, that was for sure. However, it was not clear if he was lying, or telling the truth ... Perhaps he would stay to just look at the beautiful female.

The boys followed her, just as she suspected they would, just as they always do. This gig was getting quite repetitive, but she had an ounce of hope that these two would be better than the rest, she was obviously wrong though. She wouldn't deny that she was someone drawn to both of them, Raven with his perfect face, and Derek with the body of a god... But Selli had seen this all before and she knew not to be weak like the opposite gender, and not let something like beauty distract her. It was a skill that was hard to perfect, but she had enough experience already that she had the ability to control herself.
Of course, she would never make this known. One of her skills in the field of seduction was the ability to play that 'damsel in distress' and then at the very last moment, when the man thought they had all the power, she would turn on them and shock them with how very capable she was.
But what was pissing her off now, more than anything is that these two were her colleagues, she had shared some pretty dreadful moments with them and had proven herself time and time again to be much more than any man could ever be. But had they forgotten that? She wouldn't let this new found anger be unleashed however, instead she would use their own stupidity against them, it was their own fault..just as so many before.. for underestimating her.
She addressed Raven first, "Something I am interested in? My dear Raven, the answer to a bold question like that is something that must be earned, and I'm afraid that you have yet to prove yourself to me."
She turned around facing them once more, and when she had finished talking to Mr. Silverstar she walked by him, keeping her eyes this time on Derek's, and once and a while lingering to other parts of his body, just for her own enjoyment. Others may have been afraid to speak their mind in front of him, but fear was something Selli had not felt in 14 years.
"Drawn to me like so many others before you." She paused as she walked very close to him, within inches of his face taunting his rule about looking and not touching and spoke with a bored expression on her lips. "You both have disappointed me greatly here today, I thought you were better than the others but apparently loyalty to the darkside does not change your true nature as a man."

Raven let a small smile linger on his lips as he listened to Selli, he had seen nothing bold about the question he had asked her but then again his idea of bold often differed from others idea of bold. He shrugged and decided to drop it, he would rather not push Selli. She had a talent for making men, feel inadequet. He also refused to look like a lovesick teenager, that would not do much for his image among the younger deatheaters.
Raven raised his eyebrows when he said he was drawn here by Selli's beauty and that he was now condemned to look and not touch. He didn't believe him about that. It sounded like a well rehearsed story that Derek was used to telling. He watched Selli teasing Derek and smirked. He cringed slightly when Selli said that she was disappointed in both of them. She was basically telling them off for being, well, men. He looked in Selli's eyes and held her gaze for a few seconds before he spoke.
"Seems you've been spending too much time being a teacher Selli, you're scolding us like you would scold some students for being out of bounds" He grinned at Selli. "I'm almost waiting for you to take points off or give us detention, I see why Calderact chose you to be placed in Hogwarts". Raven would never admit it out loud but when calderact had originally announced that he would be placing a deatheater in Hogwarts, he had been relieved that he had not been chosen. Teaching was definately not one of Raven's strong points.

To be perfectly honest, this was all a game to Derek to. He didn't chase after women - they chased after him. However, he didn't see anything wrong with charming the ladies and giving them compliments, and making them feel wanted. He was a gentleman through and through, for he was raised by a most splendid family, and brought up by Death Eaters. He wasn't like those uncouth monstrosities which called themselves common men, and would never stoop so low as to treat women like complete objects.
Actually, he saw himself above even Raven.
"There is a fine line between being confident in ones self, and being and egoist." Derek pointed out to Selli. It was true that he wouldn't mind taking her home with him, yet at the same time, there were always prettier girls out there, and most of them were not as hard to get as she was. Plus the male liked being chased after, rather then doing the chasing himself. He preferred to be the one soughted after. "I was merely paying a compliment, my dear, and I assure you that no disappointment is necessary in me."
He smiled his wolf like smile and folded his arms across his chest, his gaze flickering from Selli to Raven, and then repeating the process until he finally focused on the end of the alley, at which he could see, on occassion, a single wizard or which passing by. "What are you two doing here, sneaking around in back alleys? Hasn't the Dark Lord a job for you to be getting on with?" He asked, raising a brow, his brilliant blue eyes switching to Selli's face. He already knew she was a spy at Hogwarts, but then, what was she doing in Knockturn Alley?
Speaking of which, Derek had always known that he would not be chosen to become a teacher; he was far too known in the wizarding world as a Death Eater to do that. However, there was something else to. "Dear Selli, you may have seen my daughter at Hogwarts - she is in Slytherin. I have a favour to ask of you."
