"A revolution is something you are willing to die for. Everything else is just a campaign."
It has been over twenty years since the legendary Harry Potter defeated the dark Lord Voldemort, bringing about a new era of peace and prosperity in the wizarding world. The ministry has flourished under a new command and relations with the muggle world are good. But with peace also comes widespread ignorance. Everyone is going about their own lives, never once really considering what is happening right under their noses.
Whispers. That is how it started, murmured words on strings, exchanged in the dark corners of Knockturn Alley. It was the only place they dared speak them—the only place that still kept a little bit of dark magic hidden within. Dark magic that has stirred for the first time since Lord Voldemort’s second rising. Whispers that Diagon Alley’s new extension and the talk of a magical new train platform are more than they appear. Others dismiss it as natural change—as the wizarding population grows, so must the space it occupies alongside the muggles. But at what point do the two worlds collide? Where is the line between what is wizard territory and what is muggle territory? The Statute of Secrecy has long governed the balance between the two worlds, without question. So what happens if it is broken? Can such a thing even be done?
But it’s all just talk, right? No one could ever break the statute, no one would dare disrupt the reign of widespread peace. To do so would be foolish, imprudent—and completely and entirely impossible. At least that’s what they’d want to you think.
