Powerful wizards just want more power. Lord Voldemort is no exception. His army is growing in numbers. The number of attacks have risen, causing alarm within the Ministry. Some think the Ministry is going to fall into Voldemort's hands and the world as they know it is going to end. There are a few people in the world who aren't about to just let it happen. Albus Dumbledore is one of them.
Dumbledore is in the process of forming his own - army, if you'd call it. A resistance against Voldemort's crusade. He is trying to round up members right under Voldemort's nose. The wizarding world needs to prepare for a battle for their freedom from oppression and to save the muggle world too.
The students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are not oblivious to these fact like their parents think. They know what's going on in the world. Some have joined Voldemort's cause - he'll take anyone who pledges loyalty to him, no matter what age. Others, are just neutral, scared about what's to come. Then, there is a group that are fully prepared to fight alongside Dumbledore. It's been rumored in the school that he has started building a resistance. While it is still just a rumor, there are plenty of students ready to join - though Dumbledore won't allow it until they are of age - if this group exists.
Of course, within Hogwarts walls, the students have their own drama to deal with. The Marauders: James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew, are causing more trouble every day. Mostly, James is attempting to get the attention of the fair beauty Lily Evans but, she ignores him. Lily is best friends with Severus Snape - a Slytherin boy. He has problems, too. Who doesn't? Severus is being pressured by his house mates to join the Death Eaters. As much as he wants to do it, he doesn't want to because he knows it will upset Lily - and he loves her too much to hurt her.
The world is a mess, will it ever be settled?
Can Dumbledore defeat Lord Voldemort?
Will Lord Voldemort reign supreme leader?
Just what is this secret resistance Dumbledore is brewing?
